help a first-time crossover builder

Hi,

I have a pair of Sony SS-F5000P speakers. I thought I would try to upgrade my crossovers. I thought that a crossover, at minimum, consists of a capacitor and resistor, but the crossovers I found only had a capacitor. 1.2uF for the tweeter and 2.7 uF for the woofer. Nothing for the mid-range driver.

If I want to try and start from scratch and build a real crossover with whatever components I need, how do I know which values to select? I figured I need to know the frequency range for each driver, but I can't find a spec sheet on the internet.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
