RE: RECEPTACLE.

Deepak....to gain focus and a deeper/wider soundstage, you might try re-positioning your loudspeakers. Perhaps they need a bit more toe-in (as just one suggestion). The R-1 does not foreshorten the depth of the soundstage....it increases it front-to-back. What you are experiencing is not "normal" with this outlet, especially for music playback.

I have found over many years that the introduction of a new component, power cable, interconnect, and even a wall outlet changes the "sonic output" and dynamics of the system, which in turn can require the re-positioning of the speakers. In other words, the sonic "envelope" can change, which in turn changes the room acoustic. Therefore, the adjustment of the loudspeakers (even a tiny bit) can address this change for the better.
