too small?

100pF seems awfully small for a 10uF bypass. You might try between 10 - 100nF. WIMA FKP is a nice stacked PP film cap, very compact, one of their better products. A polystyrene cap is also a good candidate. They can be bought from plenty of sources, including e-bay. Seek non-magnetic leads.

Or the KG could offer improvement. They're decent caps. FG is also a possibility. Of course, Black Gate would be the best, and you could then eliminate the bypass, but good luck finding any. Most are fakes, so be cautious.

Peace,
