this 10uf+/- cap is in the signal path. Cap C111 - first cap coming off the pin board of a NAD C275BEE power amp.
The signal comes in but I see there "may be" a voltage feed back on it???? I'm not that skilled in these matters. How can I tell with a DMM if i CAN pull this cap out and try a film cap in it's place safely?
After two or three years of trying to warm this thing up, I gave up! It has a great top end and a nice bottom end. but the entire midrange is flat, ill defined and generally just lays there!
Yes I've tried all kinds of cables and preamp switch outs.
