Setting up the receptacle is as important as the receptacle itself. The Wattgate is based on standard US designs and thus one half of the duplex is connected to the other half by a thin slotted piece bridging the two outlets
I routinely jumper over the two halve on both side to increase the current capacity, and then when hooking up the incoming AC, make sure that y0u connect to the opposite inlets.
Picture shows the two different inputs on opposite outlets and you can see the U shaped copper jumper installed between the two outlets. Makes a noticeable difference. Be sure to connect the u shaped jumpers on both sides
