3M also make a copper conductive spray that may be easier to work with than adhesive foils and could be built up into quite a thick layer. EMI 35 spray.
I'm tempted to use this on my next amp build below the top plate as the remainder of the chassis is wood.
I'm sure I've seen a YouTube on how to use it but gotta rush. Sorry
