Be careful about tightening speaker screws. Some companies use the screws in manufacturing to hold the speaker in place as a mastic cures under the speakers themselves. By tightening these screws if the speaker is manufactured this way will crack the mastic. Not good. Some speakers also use a special ring under the speaker which is designed to separate the speaker from the cabinet (B&W"s). If this is tightened too much, it ruins these foam seperators. These speakers must be torqued to a factory spec. Don't just make them tight.
