short answer: yes, remove stylus and place a drop of ferrofluid into the space for the stylus assembly.
Stand the cartridge on end so that the cartridge sits on the connecting pins. This allows the ferrofluid to flow through the coils; allowing it to sit for a several hours. The coils are impregnated into the plastic body, so it does take a while.
Start off with a small drop and add if you like the effect. In a V15 V the highs improve as well as detail. SO do dynamics. Have fun
