Steve , I am glad you tried the new fuse. In my headphone system consisting of the Sennheiser 800 headphones with an Eddy Current Zana Deux tube amp, I have been particularly impressed with the Synergistic Research Red fuse in the amplifier location.
With a 30 day trial I believe you would have fun hearing the differences the two fuses generate. Give your fuse about a week to fully break in and then change it's direction. Somestimes there is a difference.
It is also fun to compare the Furotech GTX-R A/C outlet to a Synergistic Research Tesla Plex outlet where you have the amplifier plugged in the wall.
