You say you're using an integrated amplifier. Is the preamplifier section active or passive? If passive, i.e., if the output to the Velodyne woofers is taken off the passive preamplifier section, essentially a volume control, then you may have an impedance match (between passive preamp and input to Velodyne) that could be improved upon, for better bass response. One would have to know the particulars to be sure. I would not call this a "tweak" necessarily. To "fix" what may or may not be a problem, you'd probably need to install an active preamplifier.
