Some are dismayed by the numbers i post.

1. remember I'm relatively old being 63 ( yeah I know there are older).

2. I started in 1967 with a modest Sony all in one system that simply plowed through my favorite records

3. I upgraded with Transistor Dyna Kits the infamous bose 901, and best TT I could afford as I realized my software was more valuable than my hardware.

4. Entering college in 1970 I had to pay my own way. expendable income was more than just tight, it was non existent. Bought a car, too, to impress the chicks. Most times after making payment, I couldn't afford gas even though it was less than a dollar a gallon.

5. enter the world of tweaking; Audio Amateur created the concept of POOGEing. Slowly as I gained confidence I began to employ its tenets.

6. be aware some of the tweaks I write about sometimes go back many decades. IN opening a retail outlet I kept many secret as it gave me an edge over competitors and I could make rather interesting upgrades in doing service calls.

My CHF has reached a point where my heart function is only 15% on a good day. I have no real reason in keeping secrets any more and I'll be releasing them as time and the readership permit.

7. Remember these are lessons gleaned over decades, talking to many other engineers and physicists, and learning what I can.

8. when I say I rather not spend further time, there are concrete reasons why I say so. Time is extremely finite when your health is at risk ( no sympathies please, I've had a good life). just remember that certain concepts and principles have literally taken me decades to conceptualize within myself.
