Luxman PD-272, Micro Seiki TA-1 antiskate rebuild

Iacquired the Luxman a while ago and have had not luck locating an antiskate mech. I have scowered the interwebs for info.
Finally I decided to procede. I found some odds and sods around the house and believe I have had a breakthrough.
I came up with a nut for ceiling fan chain housing, a screw for a P mount cartridge (actually fits the armrest hole!) a setscrew nut, a couple of washers and a long screw.
The P mount screw has a very small head so I needed a washer on the inside of the chain nut and had one the fits exactly. Oddly enough, the thread of the setscrew nut was perfect for the thread of the chain nut so that could drive the washer in.
After the washer was in, I unscrewed the set-nut and plopped the cartridge screw with a head shell washer to help damp. I put a plastic washer between the armrest and the chain nut and tightened the screw.
I broke the head off the long screw it appeared about the proper length. The set-nut was screwed into the chain nut leaving enough room to put the long screw into the set screw hole. For now it is tightened snuggly and the hot glued (through the hole at the end of the set-nut. I want to wait to see if it works, then will solder it in place.
All I need now is a nut to fit the longscrew to adjust the weight. Once I find out where the string is supposed to go, I'll give it a whirl. (help please!)
