under $10 each.... Go to your local hardware store and purchase a couple of plumbing tailpieces. These are the nickel plated ( chromed) pipes which fit into the bottom of your sink. They have to be plated, and not the aluminized ones. They will have a flange on the sink side. Slide them over your cables flange side towards the source. This forms a Zero gauss chamber of sorts and does two things: it traps the EM field from the cable, and prevents the EMI from exterior sources from affecting the cable. QUite a note worthy tweak.
Mark Hampstead (the inventor) of Z Cables wraps the pipe with alternating ERS and brass layers for further reduction of noise.
