As someone that was in the "ear" game I'll say there are some people that may react negatively to no air circulation nightly. I thought of posting on this very topic. The ear is engineered if you will to be an open baffle not an acoustic suspension sealed chamber. It would only cause a problem to less than 10% of folks but is still something that should be monitored. The downside could be far worse than the benefit for those that react poorly to a sealed ear. Not just wax problems but ear infections caused/accelerated by the increased temp becoming a breeding ground for bacteria etc. Trust me, I've seen it in some construction workers. It's bad. Also make sure your hands are clean when handling the plugs.
