I can't imagine why a manufacturer would trouble to install knock-offs inside an amplifier. Perhaps the economy of scale or negotiated prices made it worthwhile to use them, and perhaps they're the best sounding caps they could afford. Knowing how crucial those caps are to the sound of a component could make it worthwhile to spend money there, shave elsewhere. Are you the original owner? Someone upgrade before you?
