Stealing from Synergistic, try hanging those warning fishing bells in the listening room. ou hear an improvement in the top nd. Similarly placement on a musical instrument, particularly guitars and ukuleles in the listening room (placement not super critical, although between the speakers does sound the best) also greatly enhance midrange detail or at least the range of the the instrument itself. I use a broken mandolin body with nice effect effect obtained fro dumpster diving.
