Dact Type 21 vs. TKD 2500 series

My Tubes4Hifi SP13 kit preamplifier came with a pair of Dact Type 21 attenuators for the left/right mono gain. It's these:

It also has a main volume control and I used a TKD 2CP2511 there.

I'm debating replacing the Dact Type 21 with mono TKD 2500's as well (Michael Percy has them). This is strictly for sound quality. Good idea or bad idea? Has anyone compared the Dact Type 21 against any other commercial potentiometers?
