Running 2 Romex 10 gauge circuits thru the wall 20 feet

Hello everyone.
I want to run 2 10 gauge Romex circuits thru the wall to dedicated outlets.
What is the best way to run the 2 Romex cables ?
Drill holes in the 2 x 4's, pull thru ? This is floating then thru the wall.
Staple every x number of feet on top of the 2 x 4's (Nothing is/will be attached on top of these 2 x 4's)
Should the 2 runs of Romex be separated by a certain distance, or better stapled together on top of each other ? This adds rigidity.
