Insulating AC Outlets from Wall Vibration

There's never been any doubt in my mind that the speakers and other non-musical sources vibrate the walls to the performance detriment of the components that derive their power from the AC wall outlets installed there. Lacking funds to test the possible benefits of a Furutech GTX Wall Plate as a solution, have unsuccessfully tried inserting various materials between the box and the wall in the past.

Finally struck it lucky by inserting 5mm x 57mm pieces McMster-Carr's 3/16" thick F10 very soft white wool felt at the top and bottom between each AC outlet and the wall as pictured. On restarting, detail of the music was reproduced in the sound-stage with greater subtlety and lightness, almost free of the lingering harshness identified with digital. (Apart from switching off the relevant circuit at the breaker box, may I recommend buying a couple of spare AC wall boxes in advance of doing this tweak to prevent frustration as the weak little securing-arms have a tendency to snap during the tightening process and a new securing arm can then be quickly substituted for the broken one in the existing wall box with minimum time/ trouble.)
