I understand the method, as I've implemented the Auricap Tweak (two non safety rated 0.47uF 630V Auricaps placed in parallel across L and N) for digital applications for a number of years without issue. My curiosity is about placing two safety rated X2 caps in parallel (such as two 0.1uF 250V WIMA MP3-X2) rather than only one cap as usual. Even though Audience implements Auricaps for their Adept Response PLCs, I feel far less confident using non safety rated Auricaps within a high current PLC than I do within a very low-current draw digital transport, and a very low-current draw digital interface processor.
