Yep, you would think an experienced tweaker in Germany would know better.As for the WIMA MP3-X2 X2 AC power line noise filtering capacitor, I'm going to compare a WIMA MP3-X2 0.1uF 250V with the stock MKP type X-cap for a VansEvers Reference Model 12 Analog PLC. It's amazing how much sonic impact a very small value noise filter cap can make. I like the fact that the materials of the MP3-X2 involve more organic paper and resin. Al Sekela recommended the WIMA MP3-X2 as the only X2 cap he liked.
Do you have any experience of placing two conventional X2 caps in parallel like the unconventional Auricap Tweak?
