I understand from your response to Alan Krafton that your are not soliciting suggestions but may I ask you a question?
Please would you explain in what context "floor-borne vibrations are never a problem" (i.e. in the presence/ absence of floor-standing speakers in the room, human movement on the structure, impact of passing traffic on the foundation)? In my experience de-coupling speakers from every component in the same room is the very least requirement for minimizing vibrational sound image blurring and so I am confused by your general assertion.
