I have a Samsung with rear firing speakers that are disabled in the menu. They make no sound. I don't integrate the TV and my audio system but I got a $600 Samsung soundbar w/ sub for $100 to use with it. Are you saying you like the sound better with the speakers physically removed that were not even playing? Were they rear mounted like in my Samsung?
You wrote this that confused me:"""" The Samsung 11.5" x 6.25" x 0.375" internal stereo TV speaker panel looked so lightweight that I was doubtful that it would even at a distance of five feet from each floor speaker. """
Would what? I don't understand that. And you said a connector was all that fed it. Was it two conductor for one full range or four conductor for a stereo pair or are some electronics like a small amp integrated in the panel you removed? Thanks in advance.
