Anyone know of an "Audiophile" version of this device? My system (and ears) are sensitive to "proper" absolute polarity, but in my current setup I have no convenient way to switch (either at the preamp or DAC). I've tried the item pictured below, placed at the inputs of my amps. Sure, they provided the ability to switch polarity back and forth, but unfortunately caused a loss in transparency, too much of a sonic liability. So I've reverted back to accomplishing this at the speaker leads. A pain.
I've also tried 1-way reversers, placed in the chain just for reversed polarity, but they're even worse, as they introduce the reduced fidelity to just one polarity position.
A super neutral version of this gadget would be a nice find for PhasePhools like me. Not as sweet as a remote-controlled solution, but better than screwing around behind speakers.
