My main concern is to ruin to source
From the schematic i see that pin 1 of the XLR is grounded and 2 and 2 connected to the primary of the transformer
Does this ruin the source ?
And where to put it .. after the dac or after the preamp ?
But above all i would not ruin the equipment with something like a short circuit between phase + and pahse -
But i like the ground isolation provided very very much.
I have ground problems ... i am sure of this
Because if i short the preamp inputs there is no noise to speak of.
If i connect the source ... tac ! i have noise ... very disturbing
