Buying surplus capacitors can save you lots of money. But as neolith said, electrolytics dry out and go bad, just sitting on a shelf.If you have access to a ESR meter, and also have a way to reform NOS caps out of the circuit, while carefully monitoring their current draw, that's great. Otherwise, you might want to consider buying fresher stock from Digi Key, Mouser, etc.
Oh, and if it were me, I'd be looking for 105 ÂșC rated caps. Those Krells run hot, don't they?
