Upgraded caps in my Sherbourn CD-1 Cd player

I just wanted to post my recent upgrades to my Sherbourn CD-1 cd player.

This Sherbourn CD-1 CD player was a n ice sound unit right out of the box but after some months now and after I did the Coupling cap and upgraded to Obbligato Premiums, I started to hear things that I didn't like. I mean they weren't really bad but I just didn't like it so I upgraded all the caps in the main power supplies and analog output boards to Panasonic FM (mostly), FC, some Silmic II's and Nichicon FA Muse.

Even tho the Sherbourn has only been breaking in for 2 days now, I really like what I'm hearing so far and hopefully is only going to get better.

First thing I have noticed is the Soundstage is way wider and deeper than before. Some of the blurring I heard before with the stock caps is now gone. Another thing is that its very revieling now with way more transparency. I'm hearing some things now that weren't really hidden but really are coming out now with not sounding congested and blurred in with surrounding instruments. Nothing is edgy or harsh sounding. The Bass still isn't there where I want it to be but has come farther in the last day and will come after a few days more.

This break in is following exactly how my Class A tube/mosfet headphone amp break in process went after I upgraded the headphone with the exact same caps.

So far so good! I will post back on the final results in a few days.
