Connecting two full wave rectifiers together

First some information.

I have tube amp monoblocks. The low voltage storage capacitors are 2-pole. 2 caps per amp. There are two full wave rectifiers per amp. One for each 27,000uF 200V storage cap.

I want to try the new 4-pole capacitors. Two caps per amp, but they are wired in series. In this case I only need 1 full wave bridge rectifier per amp.

A) can I connect the two +ve leads together, than the two -ve leads together? This would preserve voltage (I think), but double amperage.
B) only use one rectifier and leave the other one unused (I can for see transformer load issues)

This next picture shows the two rectifiers. I have removed the wires leading to the binding posts, they run from the -ve screws.
