I found that even a less state of the art carbon fiber disc than what your BDR product is can help dissipate vibration without the audible effects of the delayed release of energy storage often observed with the use of a compliant material for vibration control purposes. IME, a less compliant material like Herbie's Audio Lab dBNeutralizer pads tends to sound better for use under loudspeakers than Sorbothane, which tends to be problematic unless the vibrational/resonant characteristics an application/device responds very well to its compliant function, without coloration.
