Take a look at the Magnan Audio recipe for in wall capacitors I linked to in this thread, "Everything you never wanted to know..." You will see that the highest value capacitor bank is around 40 microfarads. The smallest value used in some commercial filters like Enecom is only a fraction of a microfarad. Also note the high Voltage requirements (400-600 Volts) for the capacitors. Also note the emphasis on quality of the capacitors as opposed to quantity.
