There are no resistor values you can add

...which would give you 100K. Any value you parallel via your Y adapter will give you a value lower than 47K. Google "resistors in parallel calculator' and try it for yourself. The only way is to remove your 47K and solder in a 100k. Is that worth doing? Only your ears can be the judge.

From everything I've read, you're not going to be able to accurately measure pF values in cables without highly specialized equipment. I have a decent DMM which measures capacitance, and it won't measure that low with any accuracy. Best to go with the cable manufacture's specs. Check out Blue Jeans cable for inexpensive low pF cable.

Many of your questions have been answered many times over on the Vinyl Asylum. I suggest you do a search over there (using the "find" box) for enough reading material to keep you occupied for quite some time.
