I have a hospital grade isolation transformer with filtering and electronic noise still gets thru. I plugged a floor lamp with a built- in dimmer into the same outlet the isolation transformer is plugged into and you can hear the dimmer over headphones. MIT claims their new filter box will attenuate a lot of noise and I would have to believe them as their old Z series boxes work very well in my main system.
