I believe you will be much happier with Schottky diodes, they have essentially no reverse current spikes.
Fortunately there is a widely-available part rated for 200V peak, 20 A (or 10A if you use only one side of the dual diode): MBR20200CT
You will have to make your own bridge with a terminal strip or small prototype board.
