The best thing to use is Loctite® 315™ Output™

I use it at work for bonding components to heat sinks and for attaching thermal probes to components.

But that's kind of expensive to buy a whole tube for one or two applications.

I would suggest hitting a computer store and getting a little one use tube of something like Arctic Silver, it is really an adhesive. I found that out the hard way when trying to remove a CPU from my computer. I was just trying to remove the heat sink and I literally pulled the CPU out of the socket still stuck to the heat sink without unlatching the release lever.
