I don't know why I get no response, are these REALLY such dumb questions?????!!!!

I have an in-line ground loop-stopper adaptor:- RCA sockets on an IC lead, a round cylinder (iso trannies?), and IC wire to RCA plugs. No pot on the cylinder though.

I also have a loaner Nak active xover and PSU - the EC100. Long term I will probably replace it. Or buy it!

The active LP filtered signal coming out of the active xover will be feeding a HK870 power amp, which will drive two bass bins (12" sub driver in its recommended sealed 60litre box) which will sit under the main spkrs.

NOTE that both tube power amps feed their FR and HP filtered signals into a box containing a 4PDThrow relay, which is switched from my seat. ?
So as to switch the absolute polarity of the reproduced sound.

Whatever polarity signal leaves the relay, (from the 20wpc valve amp that feeds the midbass section of the main pair,) will also be split-off that to feed the active LP xover.

So, here are my questions

i) will the ground loop adaptor help protect the input R's of the xover form the power amps signals down to 20hz or so, or is a spkr level 2-channel pot essential, in addition?

ii) will the adaptor pass reversed polarity signals to the xover?
