Hi.
get a surge protector from Humbbell/Kellems or Leviton etc., electrical suppliers. A 120/240V max 40KA surge current only costs you around $200.
Get an electrical technician to install for you at your home breaker panel.
This should take care of the burning need of yr electrical/electronic gears lightning protection.
Now for yr audio stuff, I would suggest install dedicated powerlines with insulated ground wires with inline power surge/RFI filters. This will take care of any oversurged currents with RFI noises.
Never too late to fix the fence.
