Oyaide SWO-XXX ULTIMO has two versions?

I just look at the oyaide page and i see SWO-XXX ultimo has two different versions: one is all purple body, one has top black color and bottom purple. Is there any other difference beside the color? I have one in my system with all purple , but the one i've just ordered has two different color.

Also, i have Oyaide P079: The blades (hot and neutral) are gold plated. Does it have to be shinny? The one i have looks some sort of oxidized but i am not really sure because it's brand new item and it's from the one of the best manufacture.
