Hi,
Its rated at 5H /300ma/57 ohms winding resistance.
If you have access to an inductance,(LCR), meter, you can check the inductance for 5 Henry ballpark reading. Failing that,
I would use an ohmeter to measure the DC resistance across the terminals. If you put substatially more than 300 ma. through the choke, it would probably open up a winding, and read much higher DC resistance than 57 ohms. If it reads very low DC resistance or zero ohms, it has a shorted winding.
Maybe some other members have other ideas.
