changing our furutech wire in distributor for larger gauge

I have a Furutech eTP60E with six gold schuko outlets and that funky GC303 stuff beneath them. The wiring is Furutech 14 gauge. Was wondering if I should change it out for 10 gauge stranded wire as im using a super chunky 7 metre Flavor 2 type cord to feed it (from my fusebox) and Flavor 4 type cords leading to my Cd player and amp. Could the smaller gauge be hindering potential? I'm not sure of the exact quality of the wire im using for my cables so should I stick with the Furutech stuff or will a larger gauge offset any improvements the Furutech wire might have?
