Question re binary counter & OR gate

I'm trying to match up part numbers for SOIC timing chips needed to repair my SCD-1. The Sony schematic/parts manual specifies TI SN74HC86ANS-E05 and SN74HC161ANS-E05. The markings on the physical chips are respectiviely HC86A and HC161A. The closest replacement I can find from general parts suppliers is TI SN74HC86D and SN74HC161DE4. The footprint of these D-suffix replacement chips is slightly narrower than the stock A-suffix chips, but are they otherwise interchangeable?
