Well, you could drill a hole in your side of the wall and mount a microphone inside the wall. Then hook it up to an amp with a large (15" or more) driver mounted on a cutout on your side of the wall, facing his. Turn it up WAY loud. Of course, this would make it unbearable in your own home. And it would sure be interesting when he heard echoes of his own voice coming from the wall between songs.

I'd just ask him to turn it down. He probably doesn't know you ca nhear it so clearly. If you've never said anything, he assumes it doesn't bother you.
