I have been reading great stuff these last few years about how great the Mundorfs are, particularly in certain speaker cross-overs. I currently have these Mundorf caps in my Reference 3A Dulcet speakers. They sure sound great there. I have debated about trying a pair in the outputs of my tube preamp, however, I read conflicting reports where some say that these Mundorfs work best in speaker cross-overs only, that they tend to be a bit bright(even after break-in) in electronics and this leaning towards the upper frequencies tends to make the bass a little shy-sounding. I would like some user opinions of the Mundorfs, particularly when used in the outputs of a tube preamp and what you replaced them with. Thanks.
