I'm a mathematician by profession so forgive me if this is a trivial question in electronics. what is the purpous of the inductor in your circuit. does it have anything to do with that fact that you wanted a low cuerrent o/p. if thats the case, then Ldi/dt => 0 when the current => 0, and the potential difference will therefore => 0 accross the terminals. so is this some form of isolation. im also not sure how small "small" is. im going to need an exponential range, uA, mA, pA? im guessing uA or mA.
also, how do i get a signal ground line from the left and right speaker channels? do i have to tap this from somewhere inside the amplifier?
