Hi.

Build a simple volume control box with In/Out jacks to receive signals from the tape recording out of the receiver & to send signal to the power amp.

Or it is easier to get a speaker volume control from Radio Shack to get signal out of the speaker terminal of the receiver to power the power amp. Of course, the sound will be compromised.
