how do you convert an amplifer into a preamplifier

its also a fake 5.1 channel AV amplifier. theres no DSPs in there.
its a sakyno amplifer, and hence not a very good amplifier, but i have faith in its preamplification capabilities.

there are no lineouts and no headphone sockets. is it possible to add power dissipating module between my amplifiers input and this amplifiers speaker channels? or do i have to do something on the inside?

i dont think it would be safe to place power resistors between the speaker outputs and my amplifier.

sorry, i dont have a circuit or even a picture.
