First loose the Vibrapods. They alone will over dampen your system. Anything would serve you better IMO.
Secondly, remove anything in your system which is plated with nickel, plugs, wall outlets etc. If you have any components which have nickel plated outlets, change them.
Thirdly, assure that you have no ferrites being used in your system. Remove them if you do.
Lastly, and this is my opinion only, and will raise a lot of hairs out there. Get rid of anything that is cryoed. Works great for lawn mower blades but suppresses dynamics and rolls off highs. That's why people think that it "smooths" out the sound.
