at local crystal shops, and it is relatively expensive compared to other crystal when you look at how small the beads are.
In chinese, tourmaline is called "lightning or electric" stone, and it's one of the most potent source of negative ions that can come from a gemstone. More interesting info about tourmaline at the link. Seems that lots of research about it happened at the research institutes in Japan ;-)
