Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

totally compatible with each other, wiring included. I wanted to make sure this got out to those who were curious so I started a new thread. I've only had a few hours with these 2 units so I can't make any comparisons between the KingRex and the Wallwart PS that comes with the RR-77, at this point I was more concerned about compatibility issues but I will say the effects of this pulse generator were immediate and that's an indication of this power supply's strength imho. One of my system's greatest strengths is it's sound stage depth, very impressive for an 11' x 17' x 7' room. But seconds after having the RR-77 lit up, I was hearing an inner depth to the music, that's the best way to describe it.
I can say with certainty that I'll never turn this generator off. There's no reason to just as there's no reason to turn off my air purifiers in my home. I have my 2 units mounted on top of my 6 shelf Sanus rack to a height of 6' and slightly behind & offcenter of my main set of Odyssey Lorelei loudspeakers. My only complaint is the brightness of the RR-77 blue light,,, it's bad. Fortunately at the height I've got mine, it's really not an issue. But I'm sure there will be those who will simply turn the unit around because of that blue lights intensity. The unneeded instructions were a joke also,,, unless you can read japanesse. LOL
But for just a first day impression of the RR-77, I must say this is a must have unit. I can't imagine any system that wouldn't be taken to the next level with this pulse generator,,, IMHO, it's a top grade no brainer product folks. :))
Cheers,
Robin
