...one idea is to rig up a little outboard outlet box. Remove the power port(s) and run wires out directly to the different outlet(s) in the box. Leave the box close to the back of the Premier so the wires are short.
It could look kind of Rube Goldberg like, but would probably work fine. It might not be good for your fire insurance, though.
I'm pleasantly surprised the Power Ports in the PPP don't add any glare, at least in my system. I was concerned about that after reading some accounts here over the years.
