That is a good example of a ceramin pin insulator, but the ones I purchased were from the US Army. Up north in Wisconsin a humongous ammo plant closed down and they sold off what was valuable.

Last time i bought these was 4 months ago, not sure if they are still selling them.

There should be dozens of these listings on ebay, search ceramic insulator also.

The ones I bought were over 6" tall too, there are many difft styles.

Spend some time looking and you'll see some of these are rare and collectible. One sold for $1800 on ebay when i bought one that looked similar for $5.

try and buy several from a good seller, save on shipping....these things get heavy.

i think the one you are looking at is 4" tall and that thick wire on it? Often incredible difficult to remove...thick wire that hasn't been bent in decades.
